What’s a Sub-Account?
Sub-Accounts are auxiliary accounts that you can add to your Main Account. This feature is designed to bring up new possibilities for managing investments.
You can add up to 10 Sub-Accounts to your profile to organize and execute multiple trading strategies efficiently. This means you can keep your Main Account's settings and funds secure while experimenting with different trading approaches in the additional account. It's an intelligent way to diversify your portfolio and try out new market strategies without putting your main investments at risk.
How to Add a Sub-Account?
Sub-Accounts can be created via the WhiteBIT Georgia website. Here are the simple instructions for the Sub-Account registration:
- Go to “Settings”, ”General”, select “Sub-Account” from the list on the left side and click on the button “Continue”.
- Enter the name of the Sub-Account (Label), and optionally enter an email address. You can change the Label later in the ”Settings” as many times as required. The Label must be unique within a single Main Account.
- Choose Balance Accessibility between Trading Balance (Spot) to define the trading option of the Sub-Account
- If you create a Subaccount for personal use, you do not need to activate the “Use e-mail” option. In this case, the KYC data will be automatically transferred to the sub-account. If you use a new e-mail address, you should confirm the “Share KYC data” option to share the identity verification certificate with the Sub-Account. This option is available only at this stage. If KYC is not shared during registration, the Sub-Account user must complete it on their own.
Please note: The KYC procedure on the Main Account and Sub-Account does not have to be passed on the same person. For example, if you want to create a sub-account and verify it for another person, it is possible. In this case, you do not need to confirm the "Provide KYC details" option as you need to complete the verification on the Sub-Account yourself.
And that’s it! Now, you could share the WhiteBIT Georgia trading experience with others, try different approaches, or both.
Important: Once a Sub-Account has been created, it is not possible to delete the Main Account either on our side or on the user's side.
