Deposits/Withdrawals/Trading of the asset are closed. What to do?

Periodically, due to technical update, certain functionalities may be closed for specific assets:

  • Deposit;
  • Withdrawal;
  • Trading;
  • Convert;
  • Any possible combination of the above functionalities for a specific asset.

How to set up notifications on our website?

Deposits and withdrawals are closed for technical update

You can check the availability of deposits and withdrawals by clicking on the 

“Deposit”/“Withdraw” button on the “Total” or “Main” balance page. If the transactions are not available, you will see a notification in the deposit/withdrawal window.

 

To receive an email notification about the resumption of deposit functionality for a specific asset, you have to:

  1. Click on the “Deposit” button, and an informational message will appear in the next window stating that deposit functionality for the specific asset is temporarily unavailable.

 

  1. Then activate the slider below the informational message (an activated slider is highlighted in green).

 

  1. Next, in the pop-up notification, the system will inform you that once the deposit functionality for the specific asset is restored, you will receive an email to the address linked to your exchange account.

 

To receive a notification about the resumption of withdrawal functionality for a specific asset, you should:

  1. Press “Withdraw”, and an informational message will appear in the next window stating that the withdrawal of funds for the specific asset is closed.

 

  1. Then activate the slider below the informational message (an activated slider is highlighted in green).

 

  1. After that, in the pop-up notification, the system will inform you that once the specific asset withdrawal functionality is restored, you will receive an email to the address linked to your exchange account.

Trading and convert option of the asset are closed for technical update

In order to check the current status of trading or convert functionality for a specific asset on the exchange, you have to:

  1. Go to the “Trade” balance tab. 

 

Please note: The corresponding button will turn red if trading or convert functionality is closed for a particular coin.

  1. Click the “Trade” or “Convert” button, and you will see an informational message stating that trading or convert, respectively, is temporarily unavailable.

If the functionality of depositing and withdrawing funds of a particular asset is closed, the “Deposit» and “Withdraw” buttons will turn red. You can see this in the “Wallet” section, under either the “Total” or “Main” balance. You will observe this when you select the ticker associated with that specific asset.

 

To receive a notification about the resumption of deposit functionality for a specific asset, you should:

  1. Click on the red “Deposit” button. A notification will pop up with a message that the deposit functionality for that specific asset is temporarily unavailable.

  1. Then activate the slider below the informational message (an activated slider will be highlighted in green) and click the yellow “Confirm” button.

  1. When the slider is activated, you will be notified by email once the transaction functionality for the specific asset is restored. This email will be sent to the address associated with your exchange account.

To receive a notification about the resumption of withdrawal functionality for a specific asset, you should:

  1. Click the red “Withdraw” button. A notification will pop up with a message that the withdrawal functionality for that specific asset is temporarily unavailable.

  1. Then activate the slider below the informational message (an activated slider will be highlighted in green) and click the yellow “Confirm” button.

  1. When the above-mentioned slider is activated, you will be notified by email once the withdrawal functionality for the specific asset is restored. This email will be sent to the address associated with your exchange account.

Convert or trading of the asset is closed for technical update

Unfortunately, the functionality to check the availability status of an asset for trading/convert is not implemented in the WhiteBIT application. Therefore, you can obtain information by:
